Youngsta & Kode 9 = Music Theorists/Predictors
Burial = The mechanism to put dubstep to bed, making the real shit essentially a bedroom genre
Zomby = Bringing grime back to life in a way, undead if you will
the people behind zomby = benga and skream
the people behind burial im not sure but could be those two aswell

The Ongoing Theory:
(here anyway)
Tear-out is quickly dying in the arse as punters realize it's limitations
and seek something new & more interesting to dance to.
Popstep & the diva thing is recognized as insubstantial radio fodder
but for those who missed 2004 & find house frumpy, particularly the ladies,
garage/2step/breakstep are sounding fresh and providing polyrythmic possibilities.
By seeding garagey/dub-techno sets with proppa ds,
this newly-appreciative dancefloor is being weaned off brostep
and lured back to sub-bass & swing,
although the harder, more angular patterns persist for the time being.
Maybe as alcohol wanes again & the next drug kicks in,
we'll get a reinvigoration of rollers.
