hey
i've got some cash
& with this cash i want to create a home studio for personal use
i don't have very much, but i can wait and save if necessary
i'm interested in creating garage, dubstep, funky and house (of the dsf approved variety)
i see that the "---------> Huge Guide to Producing Dubstep! <---------" hardware section's main entry posts were last updated between 2007-2009
so i ask you: any excluded updates or help i should know about?
gracias

My advice when embarking on this path of music production is to start with the fundamentals. Get a good computer. A good audio I/O. A good pair of monitors (room treatment should be mentioned in the same breath). And a good midi controller with pads, or a separate pad kontroller. You'll need a software daw like flstudio, live, or reaper. You can start (and end) there. Once you know what you are doing, you can spend a little money. In music production, honestly, more money usually = more problems/less production. Especially if you don't know what you are doing. Cheers man, this is a lot of fun. Listen to old uncle nowaysj, start with the basics. None of this is anywhere nearly as easy as it looks.
