Huge problem with Massive - Need help.

So I set up an awesome synth in Massive, a really nice wobbly synth with a high lfo on it, and it sounds awesome through the controller itself, but then when I hit record, the sound changes and sounds really weird for whatever reason. It's a cool sound, but it's not the one I'm looking for. I can't figure out how to fix it.

That's the setup. I don't know what's wrong with it. Any ideas?

Go to the Lfo that your using, uncheck "pos" if it's checked. On the osc tab hit restart via gate. Two things to try

AHA. It was the restart via gate thing. Thank you! What was the problem there? Why was it doing that?

This question has been asked and answered many times here on dsf. Honestly a read through the manual would be really helpful on your path of understanding electronic music production.

Sorry about that Nowaysj. I've just been getting into this particular VST, and I'm not used to it. Figured I'd put my knowledge forward instead of leafing through the manual.

Don't just leaf through it, read it. Study it. If you were at war, you wouldn't leaf through the manual on your rifle. You'd study it like it was the only thing keeping you alive. Sorry for the overwrought metaphore!! seriously though. Study study study.

:z: brotha!

I'm totally quoting you on this. Definitely the best metaphor I've heard for how important it is to RTFM.
