I was there and I have to say it was pretty much the best party that I've been to in years... The venue was amazing, the tunes were class and the booze was free!

Kito started the day with a quality set, loads of Joy O, Boddika, etc... Then Lunice was really good as well...

Jackmaster and Oneman b2b were amazing, loads of really garagey stuff, memory starts to get a bit hazy here, so need to listen to it again.

Wasn't feeling Brodinski and Dillon Francis massively apart from playing Scuba - Feel It, the tunes were decent, but it was 4am music, not mid-afternoon music IMO.

Blakc Chiney were ok, Rodigan was quality, proper hilarious. Then Toots and the Maytals came on and were quality. Finally, Major Lazer were dope, probably wouldn't have been feeling it in a club, but in those surroundings and with that atmosphere it was prefect. Finished with loads of total old school bangers as well such as Super Sharp Shooter, Original Nuttah and The Fugees - Ready or Not (Urban Takeover mix) which I hadn't heard since I was about 16/17, was total lunacy in the end.

I've got a couple of videos, if I get a chance I'll upload them...

it might have been when the stream went down for 5 when scuba was played, so i dunno, but was it like slowed down to like 105bpm or summat? cos brodinski put up a slowed down version on his soundcloud and its very shit haha, it just loses all the energy it has at the original tempo!

i turned off 10 minutes into dillon francis and brodinski, was watching it all online, locked back in at 3.20 for oneman and jackmaster - was as good (if not better) than the b2b2b with ben ufo at corsica studios IMO, love their sets, always bring back so many sick memories and bangers :D

so pissed i had work and couldnt make the trek up there

Not sure tbh mate, at that point I was queueing for food and heard it from a distance...

I was worried that their set was going to spoil the day tbh, just a case of wrong tunes at the wrong time for me, although Oneman and Jackmaster sorted it right out... :W:

You could get tickets in advance, they were free and went in about 30 seconds.

Watched it on the Boiler Room... Kito was really, really good, Lunice was fun. I then missed some artists as I had to work but I caught Jackmaster b2b Oneman which was amazing. Super fast mixing too. I thought Major Lazer were shit though... but I must admit I stopped watching it pretty quickly when I saw they played Swedish House Mafia, Bass Cannon and Skrillex in like 15 minutes (plus I thought Diplo ruined Oneman's last half hour on his rinse fm show the day before). I wish I had been there though...

Boiler Room
AGGGH, did any of you rip/record the video from Monday at Carnival by any chance? We really need it as there's a possibility it all got lost in a tech glitch. REWARDS PAID. We need video, not audio. Comment below if you got it, we'll love you forever.

so peak.
