IMPULSE is Berlin’s weekly Dubstep-night on Thursdays presented by various crews of the scene. This week’s IMPULSE is hosted by DUBMARINE with the following line-up:
Soom T is the Glaswegian wonder known to many for her eclectic vocal stylings and mass collaborations having shared a studio and over 40 record releases since 1999 with the likes of The Orb, T.Raumschmiere, King Creosote, Miss Kittin, The Bug, Mungos Hifi, Bus, Asian Dub Foundation and many other style defining artists, securing Soom T’s position as an innovator of originally developed musical disciplines.
Dressla got hooked on bass in the UK, where he lived from 2004 to 2006. Along with his friends he build the 14k heavy Sequoia Soundsystem to run independent raves and free parties across northern England. Soon after he moved to Leipzig and met Rootah and Disrupt with whom he teamed up to form what is now known as the Jahtari Riddim Force. Dressla is active in many genres and cooperates with various Artists across Europe. As Instruktah D he has voiced the rise of Dubstep in Germoney and hosted nights with the likes of DMZ, Pinch, Kromestar, Vex’d, Jazzsteppa, Wadadda, Mungos Hifi, LD, Phokus and Mr. Boogie to name just a few.
