To celebrate the launch of our latest endeavour, “On a Break Digital”, we decided to mix the old with the new, and have a special treat for you as our first release. We originally released Audiophile 021’s “Red Eyed Jedi” back in 2009. Since then we have had a great response to this brilliant piece of dubstep work. So when Audiophile 021 approached us and said he had re-worked it with an updated twist and wanted to re-release, it didn’t take us much time to say yes! To top it off he and On a Break regular Callan Maart had locked themselves in the studio and produced two great remixes for us.
Callan Maart gives us a version he worked on as a solo project, and it is nothing less than slamming. Giving the original a serious boost, he drop a heavy dubstep version for us all to get down to. New sounds, new production techniques and a whole new song, without losing the brilliance of the original. Nice one!
As I that wasn’t enough, the two producers both attack the original and give us the V.I.P Remix (Audiophile 021 vs Callan Maart).
With both minds on it at the same time we receive a great example of what these to great producers can do together.
This is one release you won’t want to be without! Not to mention we throw in the original for old times’ sake.
