Post by - IO - » Wed Sep 07, 2011 11:27 pm

I never heard shackleton on a radio show or anything . why dont the big djs play such stuff ? sure he´s not really dubstep anymore but hey ! isnt the diversity of the sound meant to be one of the best things about dubstep ? ? heard that beeing said often . . can anyone tell me which djs support his sound ?

I believe he's featured on Ben UFO's Rinse mix. I've never heard him on any radio show though.

i know i've said this before...

no matter how deep the vibe is in a club, shackleton always clears the floor.

for shame

One of the best to come from the sound, truly!

I swear Shackleton is the guy that truly got me hooked up to the sound. His Three EPs was absolutely majestic and Sam if you read this you better release Operatic Waves soon mate.

lol nobody even comes close to his sound do they, unbelivable producer.

i've never heard a shackleton tune being dropped in a club, but i kinda like that most people dont get it, make it more special for those that know :e:

i swear to god if I heard Hypno Angel out on a rig I would pull out a dagger right then and there and start making sacrifices.

He is my favourite producer these days. Timeless tunes.

I just copped deadman and im playing on the radio on the 19th. will have to play both sides for good measure.

yea that deadman thing on honest jons is seriously one of my favourite records .

anyway , I cant understand why for example deadman is such a "floor-clearing" tune . .

:(

well any shackleton tune might not have the desired effect unless heard on a proper rig. its the sub that gives his tunes the energy. i can imagine some of these questionable club systems these days not being up to the task. that deadman remix would be devastating.

and anyway your typical dubstep punter is there to rage out not to meditate on bass.

Can imagine this fitting in nicely in any darker set.

lots of techno djs in mpls were playing the villalobos remix of blood on my hands. i've played the original to floor clearing effect many o times.

He's on the list for SURE...

I hear he's switched to Ableton. Loved the track off Scientist Launches and the Fabric 55.
Managed to get people moving to 'Humans Rule' last night.
