Little thought I had, the dust from Outlook must have jeopardised all of those playing outlook, did anybody here play on vinyl out there? What was it like? Any special precautions?
Aha! You didn't use the tried and tested tectonic technique of building a barricade of sleeves and tape to act as windshields?T_! wrote:Took Vinyl with me, didn't play any on the Black Box boat due to technicals initially, and then when Thinking played some it skipped viciously, the wind out on the water didn't help

I think most sets I went to played vinyl tbh.Tomfooleri wrote:Little thought I had, the dust from Outlook must have jeopardised all of those playing outlook, did anybody here play on vinyl out there? What was it like? Any special precautions?
Couldn't really tell who was pon the vinyl, (apart from DMZ and T_!), due to head down beer in one hand skanking for the majority of my time out there. The vinyl I heard seemed to be fine, a skip or two in Coki's set, but otherwise good.kay wrote:I think most sets I went to played vinyl tbh.Tomfooleri wrote:Little thought I had, the dust from Outlook must have jeopardised all of those playing outlook, did anybody here play on vinyl out there? He said on Facebook that he will be playing on CDJ's from now on, except for his Shogun Audio nights, because nobody bothers to maintain turntables in clubs any more...rliquid wrote:Pretty sure Friction was playing on 3 CDJs? Bit odd.
