Free graphic EQs similar to FL's EQ? (AU)

I really like the look of FL's GEQ but I'm on a Mac, so I can't get FL. are there any free (preferrably) similar EQs? That show areas where (for example) a kick is punching in at?

I'm also looking for a warmer/exciter plugin.

Thanks

For a cheap price ($30- Demo Is Free) you can pick up a really good EQ with a nice GUI and a spectrum analyzer. They have a MAC and PC version. It's got some of thouse "ghost line" things and nice colors like FL Studios does (i think, been a wile since i've used FL)

IIEQPro is the equalizer you would probably take with you on the proverbial island. It's features are: 10 independent bands, with 12 state-of-the-art filter types, all of them adjusted for digital artefacts at high frequencies, plus seven Butterworth filter types with variable slopes from 6 to 60 dB/oct, making IIEQPro maybe the most flexible software EQ at the moment. Very efficient user interaction (just one click to dial in a band). Autolisten option. Sound processing in series or parallel. A/B option for quick comparison of alternative EQing choices. Very low CPU consumption but not at the expense of sound quality. High precision frequency analyzer (pre/post) with zoom and scroll functionality. Switchable to two-channel mode operation (L/R or Mid/Side). Available in Windows VST (32/64 bit) and Mac VST/AU (32/64 bit, OSX 10.5 and higher, NO MORE POWERPC!) format. The only issue is: once you own IIEQPro there'll be no more excuses...

edit: apparently op is looking for a parametric eq with a spectrum display.

check out MEqualizer, it's free and has a built-in spectrum display:

First of all, what DAW are you using?

EQ's with spectrum analyzers:
-I love the meldaproduction one, I use it a lot. It does have a harmonic function that you could use as an exciter, but I don't really get how that part works.
-Like Trench said - it's not free, but the ddmf IIEQ pro (also the LP10) is super cheap and super awesome. I have everything of theirs. They just came out with the 6144 eq too, which is magical. I'm not even kidding, I pushed the high shelf all the way up 12 db and it didn't sound harsh at all.

Eq's without spectrum analyzers:
-ddmf also has the regular IIEQ which is free.
-TAL-Togu has the USE EQ, doesn't do much but I do use it sometimes.
-Stillwell Audio has a few EQ's, and while they aren't technically free, the demo versions work the same way as reaper, so you wouldn't have to buy them right away. They also have a bunch of other cool shit, I think most of it is Windows though.
-Your mac comes with AUgraphicEQ and AUparametricEQ, nothing to write home about though

Spectrum Analyzers:
-Voxengo SPAN
-Blue Cat audio's freqanalyst is what I prefer, I just use it along with an EQ.
-Stillwell Audio Schope - again, techincally not free, but you can use the fully functional demo as long as you want..

That gives you a bunch of EQ's to play around with, I've never heard of a free exciter for osx though.

If you are using logic, use the channel eq, turn on the analyzer and set it to 'high' for an accurate display

some more info... like i said, i don't know of any exciters, if you're using logic, there's plenty of good plugins to choose from, but I do know of some free "warming" plugins:
-Airwindows classic channel, imitates your sound going through different mixing boards, including the ssl. they have a few others as well.
-audiodamage roughrider is a "warm" compressor
-reigndesign 1-time for tape saturation (mono only)
-tal-tube for tube saturation
-hotto.de warmer maximizer

Sorry, forgot to mention I'm on a Mac with Ableton Live. But thanks for all thaws suggestions, definitely checking them out. And 30 seems like a good price for that EQ, it looks absolutely beautiful!
