I enjoy mala, coki, loefah, 2562, distance, skream, etc... and have sence i first heard the stuff in 2006.
I also enjoy skism, flux pavilion, datsik, terravita, mimosa, etc.
But my favorite shit is in the vein of fantastic mr. fox, mount kimbies, untold, flying lotus, etc.

of course theres some shit in every corner of music, but theres gems from all these artists, yet many fall to a pre-determined fate because of their label/past work.

so i ask, does anyone else just like it all?

I know what you are talking about though, BUT seriously I don't like it all ! ! !

for the most part i'd say yea i like it all. Not too big into the screechy tunes as much anymore but they still get me going. just recently started getting more into the mellow (burial etc) side of things and im loving it, but i will say that 2005-2007 is my favorite, so many bass heavy tunes.

I can say that I pretty much like it all. Lately I have been on a big dungeon kit, but sometimes I like to listen to an Excision Shambhala mix, then maybe Distance, then over to Liquid Stranger's Arcane Terrain album, then back to some J:Kenzo, then maybe some of Liquid Stranger's 'brostep' stuff.

I would compare my dubstep preferences change similar to my porn preferences. Sometimes I like some big boobed blond haired women porn, sometimes I like some big booty black women porn, and sometimes I enjoy some asian women porn.

Also, can't stand Skrillex or Doctor P, that would be gay porn.

Love it when people call anything that isn't mid-range wobbles etc. "chilled" or "mellow".

what should i use the word "ambient" ....

ambient... u could say anything with verb / pads is ambient. this isn't really mellow or chilled though. a lot of tunes are dark, tense, ethereal, touching, defiant, etc..... I can honestly say i kind of dislike most "chill" dubstep (i do like Kaiori Breathe) . boring ass tunes that don't go anywhere... too busy laying about, floating on a cloud of monotone sub, peppered with clicks and blips... When i want to feel chill and relaxed i put on some guitar music or jazz ballads or something. i prefer dubstep that ranges from dready/dubby, to dark, focused, to absolutely mental. but i hate the nonsensical brosteppy bits. The best is hearing a good, diverse mix. but no, as per the OP, i don't like "it all".

also i think there needs to be a word filter on "chill" on this forum, everytime i see that word describing dubstep i want to kill someone

i loved it at first, then hated it, now i just like a select amount of it, plus some other things i never thought i'd love.

I heard a mario dubstep tune the other day that my mate played. we were getting on so well and I didnt want to spoil the positive vibes we were sharing from showing each other music we liked so I just pulled that 'this is dirty' face and bobbed along.

I get into all different types of music. Sometimes I'm in the mood for "mid-range crack" and sometimes I'm in the mood for the deeper stuff. Sometimes I like to just sit back and listen to some old school soul or classic rock. Other times I want to get down with some tschiakovsky or chopin. But most of the time, I make the poop in my pants.
