What do you do to add musical qualities to them?

Filter sweeps? Time-stretching? Side-compression? Rhythmic filtering? Add any FX such as chorus or whatnot?

At the moment I'll just time-stretch and heavy 'verb to add some grit and fill in empty harmonics, can't think of any interesting ways to manipulate them so looking for inspiration...

Do you ever actually do the drum thing in your own tunes Leg? I've been looking out for it since you posted that tutorial, but I've never noticed it

Ones on my soundcloud which includes that technique are Point Hill and Blynk - Good Morning (Legend4ry's Digging Deep mix).

Got loads of WIPs/stuff not on soundcloud what use it; I'd say 8 out of 10 tunes use it.
