Meh, a lot of doom and gloom oriented stuff that is nothing new to the average person aware of their surroundings... this latest version approaches you like a freshman college student begging you to listen to their "enlightenment"
imo it's more interesting to watch the ignoramuses arguing in the comments section, to try and recognize what you're really dealing with as a society (as far as people with internet access and free time goes)

totally agree. i find all the zeitgeist films really patronizing and full of oversimplifications.
the latest one seems to be about selling the idea of a middle aged white north american male survivalist utopia.

Wow, Is this going to give us some serious facts or is it going to be paranoid ramblings joined with tenuous evidence based on legend and conjecture.

im not sure how much you watched, but when they were talking about addictions and how we focus on addiction against drugs here in our society while addiction to greed & oil not only kill more than drugs but are accepted in our society as normal.

the average person is not even aware of their surroundings lmao. you think the average person understands whats going on around them? or their purpose in life?

i didn't say that the average person is aware of their surroundings, i said that this is nothing new to an average person who is aware of their surroundings.
and personally I don't think this video does a very good job of explaining things. Might start the gears turning, but honestly, who cares enough to film something like this? Do they not realize that the universe is eventually going to be a cold, dead place... do they plan on downloading our consciousnesses into machines and continuing class warfare with digital blips and bloops on some sort of perpetual motion machine?
If they want to spend their whole lives doing that, that's great, who knows, they might even change something for the extremely short time that humans will be on the timeline. The universe doesn't care how fair things are. People that are happy without money and can live with nature are achieving far more than teenagers sitting at home fuming over a youtube video.

Yeah, didn't Zeitgeist support the "Bush did 9/11" theories? Not cool.

Venus dropped the association as I recall. Too much negativity surrounding the zeitgeist stuff.
Interesting films, entertaining, thought provoking. Not the end all be all of information though... some people forget that.

one addiction is a physical dependency
the other is a metaphysical argument concerning the reality we have built for ourselves as a race and live in from birth
interesting idea; hardly the same thing however
people aren't 'addicted' to greed... greed itself is a result of our nature and the society we live in
we all have elements of 'greed' in our personalities, if you anthropomorphisise the concept of human society to make it into a giant organism, you see that the world with all its different people, all thinking different things, yet all co-ordinating in a cohesive, naturally evolving organism bare traits that we all have in ourselves; paradoxical traits that supposedly we aren't capable of bearing at the same time - but we truly do; and that is the world. that is our reality.
by its very nature of being our reality, and understanding that we experience our reality through each others, we see that its impossible to NOT anthropomorphisise everything around us - the world we experience becomes a human world.
something like 'greed' is so complex an idea IN REALITY it is almost impossible to claim that we are addicted to it wholly as a society... yet it is a disposition that we share.
humans individually are a confluence of paradoxical thought and action, we are capable of being entirely different people in the space of a few moments... we are capable of thinking one thing and acting in another way at the same time; nothing is linear.
FUCK SKRILLEX.
ahhhhh back to normal again

The Zeitgeist 'Banking system' video on youtube was really well put together I thought.
Haven't seen this yet so can't comment but suprises me so many people think its utter bullshit.
Will check it later.

Sorry, I havn't seen the newest addition but I just hoped it wasn't going to be the same as the first three which is why I asked. Alot of interesting stuff in them, But an awful lot of it seems hard to prove/disprove and is largely based on some rather dubious evidence.
I'll have to check out this new one, Unfortunately I have a filtered work PC and can't see any videos
