Its 4 years since The Redline Dubstars DJ collective were there for Benga (Magnetic Man) in Adelaide’s first dubstep party and they’ve since hosted N-Type, Caspa, Doctor P, Reso, Trolley Snatcha, Plastician, Tes La Rok, SPL, Truth, Chasing Shadows and been at the forefront of Adelaide's dubstep scene.
To celebrate 4 big years, all stops are being pulled out for the birthday bash. Over 2 rooms in refurbished Adelaide clubbing institution The Tivoli, we have one of our fave DJs Seven back in: Last time Seven played Adelaide, he showed exactly what DJing is meant to be about with clinically tight mixing and a crazy amount of double drops, fitting with #1 DnB DJ Andy C comments that he doesn’t know anyone who practices mixing more than Seven, with those who later heard the live recording lamenting not being there to see it. A massive 100,000 podcast from Rinse FM, tracks out on Tempa, Black Box, Subway, Aquatic Lab & Sin City and getting play from Skream, Benga, N-Type, Chase & Status, Nero, Kryptic Minds, Datsik & more, Seven plays nothing but quality tunes for the dancefloor.
The Tivoli hotel, one of old school Adelaide’s favourite clubbing venues as home to Rush has been newly revamped with glass framed balcony overlooking the large main room and an outdoor space just off the dancefloor. Live projected visuals from the Digital Prophets with lighting, sound and extra bass brought in especially for the event, with the front room bar for UK bass, glitchy future beats & DnB, all your sensory needs are being catered for. Some of Adelaides best bass-DJs are repping on the night including Jayar, Desh, Counterpart, Macro, Bennie Raw, Moshman, Skippy, Ambassador, Distemper, Rya, Bach, Twojay & Marty B and The Underground Sound DJ competition 3rd place winner Harry Lawless. PLUS Soundpond will be capturing the action with live crosses on the night!
