Using loops/Loopmasters

Hey,

I want to buy some packs on loopmasters.com

But I'm not sure that I need Loops. I like big one-shot-sample packs with Kicks, Snares, Hihats etc.
It seems that these packs contain many loops. Do you think they are usefull?
I prefer to make my songs by my self and not with pre-built content.

Do I not get the sense of these packages or are them useless for producers that want to make music without premade melodies?

I'm from germany. I hope you get my problem. It's hard for me to express my question.
I only want to know if it's usefull for me to buy stuff on loopmasters.

They just contain drumloops and pre-made melodies. I wouldn't get them, you could just make your own loops.

I think using premade loops and melodies is kinda cheating. I suggest getting pack with mostly single hits.

Vengeance techno essentials
But I`d say you`re better off with GoldBaby samples.

That or download The Machine.
It`s a free 1gb drum machine library with all the popular hits included.

Part1
Part2

There`s also this list here:

Which mentions Goldbaby, etc.

This thread should answer your question on loops;

Do you think that using loops/presets/sample packs is 'lazy' - http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=75601

In terms of what to buy, Vegeance ClubSounds would be a good starting point, or anything from the Goldbaby range.
