Im currently using NI Massive and i have been working with resampling for a while now. i was wondering if anyone had any experience with importing the audio samples into ableton sampler or something simular? i usually just place the audio files around in the arrangement view.

No no use the sampler! Apply a pitch envelope and maybe the fm oscillator.

use either depending on what you wanna do.

basically what these guys said.. you can really use either depending on what you would like to achieve. It's also cool to load a bunch of samples into a drum rack and play them that way, when you do that then each slot can be effected individually allowing for some freedom.

I have tried to resample from Massive to Simpler with shit results

better yet load them into camel audio alchemy, it can be used as an insane sample editor, look it up!
