They are not necessary but I really like to use them in my songs they really add that kick in my opinion.

Lol im not mad at all I just think its funny that people get wrapped up in trying to find samples rather than trying to improve production values... but as an aside it might be cool to make a frankenstien sample, as in take different words from different sources and out em together like a ransom note or something
What ever you do be obscure! That way people know your song
when they hear the sample and not where it came from

Use a line from Snatch, it lets people know that what's about to follow is going to be really shit.

And your right not all of my songs are going to have samples in them and I get what your trying to say but just in this song I feel like it would be even sicker if it had one...
