Herro.
Alright, so lately I have found myself wondering how producers create all the sounds I hear in their intros (leads, pads, stabs) from scratch.
For an intro I always end up finding a preset I like, and I feel like I don't learn anything or accomplish anything by doing that.
I was just looking for some tips on creating leads, pads, and stabs within massive..many of the sounds I want to learn how to create myself are ones I've heard in other dubstep producers tracks.
Also, would a combination of these three make a good intro?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Start with the default patch, then fuck around. You're not gonna get anywhere if you don't experiment
