Nice. How did you make the synth/bass? I fucking love it, but to me, after the build-up the snare needs to be a bit heavier a little reverb on that, other than that I love it!

make the intro more fun. the buildup was sick. the drop was boring. if your gonna keep it simple with just one lead pad and sub bass you need to amp the drums and rythm up a bit i think. have the hi hats going double time and put a bigger kick and snare on it. i think the feel of this track would suit a straight up house rythm better too....

It builds up so nicely but the drop is a bit of a let down, the drop is supposed to release tension you build up during the intro but it doesn't release at all. I agree with the post above that double timed hats could easily remedy this, but to make it phenomenal I think you should have some instrument (baseline or otherwise) to counterpoint your first melody.

Imagine your track is two people having a conversation, or at least one person having an inner monologue. In powerful moving dubstep songs a question is asked during the build up, and it's answered at the drop.

Build up:
"you going to the movies today? The movies? The movies? A great movie just came out, at the movies, the movies."

Drop:
"YES! YES! Let's go to the movies! I'm dying to see that movie, at the movies, the movies"

The build up asks a question, little hints are dropped as to the answer along the way, and then the drop answers the question. The two things aren't saying the same thing, but they are talking about the same thing. And it gives a climactic feel to the song.

Was that understandable?

hahaha that was an awesome analogy!!

i don't get putting the "new style" tag on this. Its catchy.... hardly a new style. i think its kinda cool though. like everyone else said, the track seems unfinished. there's a lot more you could do. Really disliked the white noise blasts. I don't understand that in this context.

Lol thanks. It's not easy to explain counterpoint and call and response without relating it to speech.
