What piano vst's are people using nowadays? Personally i'm using the Reason Piano Refill which sounds alright I guess but I was wondering if anyone could recommend another one for me (Like a VST or something)
Need it sound sound hard and bright, nothing soft haha!

Re: Piano VST's?
Google 'freeware piano vst'. 11.7m hits returned. Try some.
Re: Piano VST's?
Though most DAWs come with a piano VST as standard - FLKeys, for example.

Synthology's Ivory is the best i know of, but is quite pricey i believe. it's on my wishlist.

The Native Instruments Piano collection is nice.
I also enjoy using AAS String Studio to make piano-like instruments.

Alicia's Keys, Pianissimo, The Grand 3 and Ivory 2
they're the only one i can think of right now but have a look into them

Ivory is one of the top one's alright but it's pricey! I find the piano's on Kontakt adequate for me
Re: Piano VST's?
Mda piano is the best freeware one ive found so far but a lot of the time I try and make my own. Triangle/sine waves amp env no attack decay to taste no sustain no release reverb + subtle effects to taste. More of a keyboardy rhodesey sort of sound than a piano but ive had some awesome results. Obviously if your after a convincing piano this isnt gonna be the best approach though.
