This saddens me. not only are the sounds coming out of his rack a bit rubbish (there are some good bits in there, but hardly what id call "brostep" centric? I mean you could use those sounds in anything), the idea of having a specific set of instruments based on a sub genre is a bit ridiculous isn't it? I produce tunes of all types and it's not like a drastically change my techniques whether im doing something tearout or deep.

this is dumb

*EDIT* just seen the teef at the end of your post and checked the link... LOL! sorry for taking it seriously

hey ,no problem. it's mainly a stab at the whole dubstep vs brostep beef. and it's a nice sounding rack really.

yeah man dont get me wrong, some good stuff happening in there. Alot of the stuff he's making i think could be sample and stretched to make really cool atmospheric shit
I dont think it needs to be labelled as "brostep rack"
that is all lol

some good sounding stuff but overall rubbish imo. plus as bacon was saying whats the need of labeling it a "brostep" rack. most brostep is sounding too much alike these days as it is. we need dedicated "brostep" packs like we need a hole in the head...if anything we should be pulling sound never used in dubstep or brostep and incorporating them.

I thought brostep was a negative/joking term... I mean I've used it before but only for specifically clarifying that style of dubstep when I'm talking to fans of deep stuff, I didn't think it was a legit genre label. To name a synth after it? Stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Cool stuff, not sure why you guys are hating, but this kinda inspires me to start making my own racks. Ive just never been big into assigning knobs to racks just because it seems a bit repetitive but I really like how he switches between those formants.
