Fedbymachines had been sat in his bedroom in Tilburg, Netherlands for several years experimenting with beats, synths,noise, swing and shuffle until his decision to start sharing his tracks on soundcloud at the start of this year has earned him a great deal of attention, amassing over 6000 followers and beng awarded the coveted "soundclouder of the day" prestige back in June. After a 2-track release with Essay's Warminal label in the summer, we gave him carte blanche to do another release with us, resulting in the Undertow EP.
The 6 tunes here are a unique take on the future garage sound, with incredible shuffling beatwork and layers of sound and noise that take the listener into places sometimes deep and disturbing, sometimes euphoric, always captivating.
