hey i got reason 5 today, finally legibly bought it. I pretty much figured the majority of it out. but pleaaaaaaseee. on redrum i get the different pattern thing. but when i try to put any drums into the sequencer, it just keeps playing the same loop constantly, even when there is no block there, it just keeps going. i hit the pattern select thing. were u like pick the bank n loop number. but it doesn't change.it just keeps playing the one loop i made over n over.how do i make a pattern on redrum, then add just one loop of that pattern into the sequencer, then make a second pattern, and loop that into the sequencer, so u have multiple drum loops of dif. patterns in the same song? please any help?? reason is tight as shit by the way

unclick enable pattern selection i believe

when i clicked it,no drums played when i hit the play button, n u can't hit the run button either, same with the pattern button. any ideas at all,this is a real fat road block. thanks tho

sounds like you haven't copied the pttern to sequencer, if not i don't know

I don't think I did.I just use the pencil n draw out some measures on the redrum lane.is that wat u mean? Sorr.for all the questions im real new to all this.thanks.

The “Convert Pattern Track to Notes” function
If you have recorded or drawn pattern changes on a Redrum or Matrix track, you canhave the whole track converted to notes, in the following way:
1.Select the track with the pattern changes.
2.Select “Convert Pattern Track to Notes” from the Edit menu or the contextmenu for the track.
For each bar, the corresponding pattern is converted to note clips on the track (fol-lowing the same rules as for the “Copy Pattern to Track” function). The track willplay back just the same as when you played the pattern device with the patternchanges.
