Re: Nite Life - Bus Stop (130 bpm)
I would love to drop a bass drop to this.... if you were to ever put out stems lol
Re: Nite Life - Bus Stop (130 bpm)
There's a lot of good things going on in this. The understated drums are cool and I think you've done a good job on the sax (?) sample. I agree with Tino_Be_Like's point as well, I think that from 0.45 onwards you have got what is a potentially really good intro and then the song ought to progress onto something more. I think how you do that would be purely down to what you wanted the song to be in the end, it could be a properly bassy drop or you could possibly add/change part of the melody and add something more to the drums (4 4 beat would be interesting), or something completely different, but I think it really needs progression. Definitely something good to build on.
Re: Nite Life - Bus Stop (130 bpm)
By properly bassy drop, do you mean making them more punchy? On my subs the bass line is already pretty heavy. I suppose I could make a different chord progression as well.... Thanks for all comments, I'll repost after I've made significant changes

Yeah def prefer this vision, very nice chilled feel to it and the progression is more interesting than the previous one and I especially like the way you brought the sax back in later in track.
