Sub Swara Summer Bass Sessions in effect! For our 20th installment we've got some serious heat coming through. Our bredren, FreQ Nasty, comes back to join the Sub Swara crew for another epic dancefloor-smashing journey. This appearance will give a sneak peak into FreQ's new album, The Missing Channel, which promises to be an incredible genre-bending ride featuring the signature Nasty bass weight and some of the world's freshest vocal talent. Those of you who checked him out at Sub Swara 013 in November 06 know how he does it LARGE! And those of you who missed out, here's a second chance!

Plus, an extra special sauce -- "FreQ Nasty previews www.giveback.net... Information.Action.Change" - 9pm till 10pm
"Giveback is an organization designed to take individual passion and catalyze it into large-scale change. It will connect like-minded people and enable them to come together as groups and communities to create a more positive world. The Giveback network will allow participants from around the world to share important news and information about the causes they care most about and will enable individuals to contribute their efforts to these causes. It empowers each and every person to participate directly in local, national and global efforts alongside a vast network of motivated and passionate people creating tangible real-world change. Come early and learn more."

Also on the wheels will be the man called Sharmaji. Recently voted Producer of the Year by Bobby Friction and Nihal (BBC Radio), Sharmaji (aka Dave Sharma) is an incredible percussionist, producer and DJ who's been turning out massive tracks left and right that have made serious marks on international airwaves and dancefloors across the globe. Covering ground from dubstep to jungle to South Asian inflections, Sharmaji's tracks and sets are relentlessly fresh and inventive. He and Sub Swara resident, Dhruva, have also been doing some proper studio duty and their works will be featured on an Agriculture Records release (later this year) and in a full-on Soundclash set vs. Skull Disco (Appleblim and Shackleton) on the illustrious Mary Anne Hobbes BBC Radio 1 Show ( www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/maryannehobbs/) this month! Tune in!

As for the SS crew, we're amidst a busy summer of shows around the US and Canada and finishing up the Sub Swara album (out November 2007), but there's nothing like throwing down on home turf!

Quite the honor -- she's a true champion.

Any of you catch the FreQ Nasty set at Temple of Breaks last year at Burning Man?!
Was my first time there and that was the first show I saw....

Went kinda like this...

schooling my azz.

cain't wait for friday this.

o yes. freQ at temple of breaks settin up haj for that deep journey through the darkest into sunrise. . . o MY.

so deep. so large. that literally almost killed me.

that was a beautifully strange morning. was like some manner of mad max dreamscape. my set started with freq spilling his beverage on my discs and ended with tipper spilling out over the vast expanse of desert and a silent procession of white robes emerging from the horizon.

looking like a repeat performance this year. only this time flanked by my swaran bredren. this is setting up to be a very good year...

o yeah, i thought maybe i had died when the white procession emerged from the dark west into the sunrise. . .

if you look close you can see me up there on the deX (the disorient bus) working up to almost being flung in fever onto the dancefloor from on high. . .

did i say i'm INTO it?! i'm wearing a helmet on friday.
