vibrato on sub?

What do you guys think? Have you heard any tunes with this?

I usually do that actually. Not every tune but recently I've been doing it more. I generally have it linked to an envelope, with a good attack of about 1 or 2 steps so it doesn't wobble straight away.

And I would suggest LIGHT vibrato. Although obviously do whatever sounds good to you...

I've used it once because I heard it here and thought it was a good idea. Apparently it can make your song sound huge.

Yea, definitely, even a light vibrato fattens the sub up nicely.

i prefer doing it by phasing by laying 2 sine waves slightly detuned from each other

but that makes it wobble. if I wanted to make the sub do that I would just use an lfo/automation with the volume. Or... combine the volume oscillations with the detune phasing and....eh that doesn't seem that useful for me. That jungle technique seems very imprecise to use too. I tried chorus with 100% wet signal and that was neat. And then I tried phaser...got something new for the interesting sounds thread!
