how do i get that full sound

talking about synths n strings. ive now got my drums to sound the way i want. so im movin on to my next issue which is this.
i need to get my synths and strings sound full and lush.what do you do besides eq,compression and effects

I think you need to be more specific? Just take a synth, long attack and slow release, write big full chords spanning several octaves and reverb appropriatly.

What notes you play are quite important for get full sounding strings and pads.

Try adding chorus to widen the sound, turn off the LFO's and adjust the depth and crossover etc. It's just 1 of the ways of achieving a stero sound with pads

Try layering your synths and strings. If your pad has more of a midrange frequency feel to it, try layering some violins at a higher octave. Make sure you EQ and apply reverb appropriately.
