Broken Beat with Reason v3

Hi All,

Im coming from a DnB bkgnd but stopped about 8 yrs ago. Now Im looking to move into the broken side of the world. Only problem is Im not sure what Id need,

What refills/sample cds would be good?
Any other advice about Broken I should be aware of in reason?

Any help apprieciated :-)

To be honest I would stay away from refills/sample cds since those samples will have been rinsed. Unless you're using some classic mentasm or something..

You should try to sample stuff yourself and build up a collection really.

I wouldn't say there was anything else to be 'aware' of in Reason for making a particular style of music, as long as you know how it works, you can't go wrong.

Thanks ekaj, I had that feeling. coz when i put stuff to track it still sounded kinda dated. I'll look into that.

How do make your own?
