Anything where decent around Hastings!?

Hello... I'm off there from Monday - Thursday just wondering if there's anything decent to get up to.
Also Wednesday it's the missus' birthday so looking for somewhere to eat and drink! Obviously if there's anywhere with decent music too that will be an added bonus. I know there's always something decent down Brighton but is it a mega mission? Would have to be train or something as would be drinking.

I used to live in hastings. It's demographic is mainly chavs and indie kids. There's a couple of decent places to eat though. St Clements is seriously good - probably the only reason I ever go back. The cod in crab sauce is amazing as is the pork, also buy a bottle of the Biddingden white wine.
Other decent places for nice meals are Pomegranate on George Street, Pissarros on South Terrace and Jali (inside the Chatsworth Hotel) on Carlisle St.
For cheap eats and lunches go to Bullet on Robinson Street or wander into the Old Town as there's a couple of decent cafes down there.
Also Fish and Chips are a must one day. There's one on robinson street thats meant to be good or the Blue Dolphin. If your out in St Leonards. Peter's fish and chips is the best you can get.
There's not many decent pubs that play good music but Brass Monkey, Pig in Paradise, Walkers, Pissarros, Dragon Bar + the pub opposite, The Filo (First In Last Out) and Revolver are all fairly decent. There's not much else to do other than whats been mentioned. There's a cinema, a castle, arcades, crazy golf it's all pretty meh. Just have a wander and a drink.
If you decide to do Brighton, we've got Mickey Pearce aka Shortstuff playing at Below The Line on the tues.

Whats the name of that Italian on the corner just before you get to the centre? You walk down from the east side past the crazy golf and arcades, their pizza is bloody amazing.

Sit on the beach at Camber Sands and stare menacingly at the French.
