After hearing a lot more techno in mixes lately, I've been starting to get more into the genre. I'm really liking the sounds of Skudge and Mike Dehnert type stuff atm, and was hoping some of you guys could recommend some similar stuff. These are a few tunes I really like.
you maybe should give ''bluetrain'' a listen - it's an excellent label - more on the dubtechno side of things. extremly deep - extremly driven

Nice tunes phrex!
Couple of mixes here. First is dark techno from Terence Fixmer, second more laid back dub techno. Tracklists at the SC page.
Can't go wrong with a bit of loud london acid techno!

I love techno!
All my friends are into it so I've been forced to listen to shitloads of it...
you should check out Marc Höpners FACT mix. He is the head honcho of Ost Gut Ton.
Also check out the label called Tartelet. Crazy stuff

I've been losing touch with techno a bit lately, but was obsessed with it for years. Just looking over my tunes I'd recommend this lot:
Carl Craig
Chris Liberator
Christian Vogel
Dave Clarke
Deepchord
Deepgroove
DJ Rush
DJ Stingray
Drexciya
Ellen Allien
Fuck Buttons
Green Velvet
Gui Borrato
James Ruskin
Jeff Mills
Joey Beltram
Joris Voorn
Juan Atkins
Kevin Saunderson
........actually, I'll leave it there, going through the whole list would take too long!

you should also delve into the more psy orientated techno.
The likes of Midi Milliz, Kraft, The Delta, Dark Soho, Tim Schulz, etc.

It's my main genre for producing/djing and listening. I don't even listen to any dubstep these days.
Looks like you're not a big fan of the 'big' techno (lots of reverb and stuff) but more into the berlin bits.
Maybe check some tunes from: Shlomi Aber, Ben Klock, Efdemin (minimal side).
A lot of alternative tunes also come from artists on here http://www.dekmantel.com/about/
Those are not all techno but whatever.
Personal gem right now is:
That tune has around 6 elements max but it works so well.
(seeing Delta Funktionen, Carl Craig, Psycatron etc.. this month )
