Really is a shame if its a good synth/company, this demo makes it seem on the level of dubturbo in terms of fake bullshit.

EDIT: Did anyone else notice that he referred to turning the filter on on the synth as "Substantiating" the filter?

The videos are certainly a poor representation of Spectrasonics which are an amazing company with amazing synths.

i thought he said "instantiate" which pretty much makes sense. anyway i ain't mad at the guy, son is kind of a herb but that patch didn't suck, he''s doing his job pretty well i might add (which is to sell Omnisphere, not to be an underground dubstep fan/producer).

of course, omnisphere is a great synthesizer, no doubt about about it. i just really laughed watching this video, couldn't believe it's for real.



didn't quite like the patch though, but that's down to taste.

He did say "Instantiate".

Not really understanding the problem with the OP video to be honest. Sure it's not the most amazing thing, but keep in mind that he's a pitch man in that video. He's just trying to sell the product and I think he did a pretty good job. The video demonstrates a few of the main points of the synth that would come in handy to dubstep producers, and shows off it's ease of use to make something quick and somewhat interesting. A little enthusiasm from the pitch man, as corny as it was, is always a plus as well. I would actually buy that synth if it wasn't so damned expensive.

The video I liked the most was the guy going around the house showing all the "hardware" he uses. that one always gives me a good laugh.
