Pretty standard funky vibe going on here, always good to hear a bit of this around here.
The mix could definitely use some touching up, what are you monitoring your mix on? The balance of frequencies in the track gets a bit crazy at times, especially at the mid-low bass with your fills and especially your bass drop sound.. Breakdown is a bit ordinary, I think the steel drum patterns at the end would be better placed there. Your vocal samples get a bit lost in the mix as well, since they're only snippets for the most part, compress them mofos heavily.

Thanks for the feedback. I put more compression already (on the drums however). I had a Moog VST playing bass in the background, I put that louder too. I am to try compressed vocals (maybe more vocals) now. No changed made on the soundcloud version yet though.
