Guetta is a genius. Whilst making the worst fucking popdanceshit known to man, and getting other producers to produce for him, he's got Number 1 singles, headlines every festival he's at, his FMIF Ibiza night charges 120 euros to get in and it sells out every night it's on.

it's the song where he talks at the start that makes me laugh, just something about the way he's like 'ok let's get it started' or something. But his music isn't that bad, he just makes what a lot of people want to hear

I highly dislike the guy, but he can definitely brag about the fact that he's probably the richest man in dance music.
He's also pretty old and into his career; who really knows if he used to be an underground pariah in the scene before choosing to sell out - I doubt it, but I do think it's an odd thought.

No, but I don't know any minimal techno songs that are in any way worse than his tunes.
