albino wild animals

wish i'd just had my camera, but just spotted an albino squirrel in my yard while having a smoke.
spotted an albino raccoon a couple months back.
what gives?
anyone else seen any albino wild animals?

yeah man, there's an albino squirrel in crystal palace park (london), pretty cool....although I think an albino raccoon wins

i just wish they weren't so skittish
normally i can get the local wildlife to come within a couple feet or handfeed
these fuckers run like hell if you look at em

wish i had pics of my albino raccoon encounter
have some of my normal ones
would love one as a pet or a red fox

I imagine that they are albino for the same reason that humans are albino. Having not seen either an albino person or and albino animal in real life I can only assume that they are equally as uncommon.
