Just saw a status on fb about all of the 'filth heads' moving onto moombahton as its the next big thing, or soon to be...
i'd personally never heard of moombahton before, but after a bit of research it was apparantly this song that 'started' the genre
the slowing down of an afrojack to 108bpm, and from there we now have many moobahton edits and remixes circulating youtube.
and by the comments, it does actually look as if all of the filth kids are going to start hopping onto this bandwagon and leaving dubstep be
give it a few months i reckon
side note: am i slow here, has everyone else already noticed this?

Ive heard the name mentioned but never really knew what it was. Judging by those two videos, i never want to find out.
The second half of that skrillex remix is one of the worst thing ive ever heard

I HOPE NOT!
it needs to become really big, with filthy bro sounds but moombahton stylings.
then we can come along and crap all over it with 108bpm edited classics and take away the bro completely changing the genre
the we can all be like 'YEAH FUCK YOU, HOW DOES IT FEEL stnuc?'

producing skrillex noise doesnt require imagination...so why should this in order for the bros to move along and be like 'wow, this so funky'

Its not the volume, its the frequencies.... a decent dubstep night will generally have a more powerful soundsystem then a brostep night

I'd say you've missed the bandwagon once beyonce has already (sort of) been on it

Haha that's the worst thing I've ever heard. Makes me feel very confident about my own production.
But there are decent Munchi tunes I think.
Here's a dubstep one, good for a filler:

There seems to be a big thing in bro for tempo switch ups.
Like +-2 minutes 140bpm wubz
followed by +-2 minutes 108bpm wubz

I went to a show not too long ago and one of the acts dropped in like a 45 minute mix of this shit, it ruined the whole night and I left before I even got to see who I came to watch in the first place. This shit is even more low brow than brostep. I've always hated that stupid fucking reggaeton beat, adding cheesy ass synth to mix just makes it that much worse.
