I thought that was already known, but the question as to why he was shot unarmed was what wasn't being answered by the police which led to the unrest.

The fact he was shot wasn't the problem. If guys go round with guns, occasionaly things like that will happen. the fact he was scum wasnt the problem. police cant go round shooting unarmed people, things like that shouldnt happen. The problems started because the met police are generally a racist horrible zenophobic bunch of stnuc.

Its the same everywhere. It takes a certain kind of person to want to be a copper. Yeah. The unrest started after the shooting, when the police just mugged off Dugan's family. This. We were also being fed stories along the grapevine that shots were fired at police from his car, which clearly never happened. This sounds more and more like an assassination. It might not have been, but the police need to do a lot more to convince anyone it wasn't.
Yeah, I bet that was making him well aggressive.Toxicology tests indicate Duggan had some illegal drugs, namely ecstasy, in his blood stream. The effect on his behaviour, if any, is unclear.

Am I wrong in thinking if no heads roll over his death, and the cop(s) responsible get off scot-free, we can expect more rioting?
