Tonight finished off the search feature which will now sort by artist/title/newest.

Banned two bots/annoying people that were spam-clickng the download links of some files giving wrong impressions of stats. One was from Israel and another from Watford in London. I was amazed to see the download count jumped from 2,500 to 3,100 in 30mins flat.

There is also a cool top 15 link you can click to see the top 15 most active downloads.

Had some issues with the uploading of files and not being accurately added into the filesystem. Tried to replicate a few errors and ended up with no progress but now blaming it on the host and gonna get them to have a look into it.


We are also proud to announce that we have over 1800 unique hits already and Skream - Essential Mix - BBC Radio 1 (17th June 2007) has already recieved over 1250 downloads!

All file uploads should work now.

Some people retained errors due to my host not setting up permissions properly on Apache.

Others got SQL errors due to accidental SQL Injection when they posted track lists.

Basically if all this has flown over your head then people have been putting characters like ' \ " and * in track lists making it do stuff its not supposed to

But I fixed it all now and it should work perfect as I have just uploaded Dubsteppers Delight without a single hitch

There will be a few more changes later on today, these include stuff such as adding the Bitrate, file size and duration next to the file status information...all automatically so you dont have to worry about putting that info in


Biiiiiiigup all the supporters and people helping out by testing bugs and trying to break it!!

Small update;


GotDarker will now submit statistics to the likes of BBC.CO.UK when you listen to their exclusive sets.

Stats are submitted when you land on the file status page of the requested file.

You can now find more files by a particular user!

Your email addresses are kept very secure in our database and are NEVER DISPLAYED in our code or on our website.

To find more files by a user, you can go to a file status page and click on the "Find more files by this user >>" link and boom, it will show your user statistics!!

Ill be developing some more stuff that you can put in your forum sigs etc to show your loyalty
