the reesey style bass (the first sound in your drop) could do with a bit more power, and also it sounds like you've over compressed on the intro? when that kick comes in everything ducks underneath it. but for a 'first production' its real good.

Cheers for the feedback, ill try sort out the bass but im really struggling with mastering and eq'ing of all the seperate parts so ill watch a few tutorials then put up a better quality. And its not my first production, just my first dubstep production as oppose to house/progressive houseRefuzed wrote:the reesey style bass (the first sound in your drop) could do with a bit more power, and also it sounds like you've over compressed on the intro? when that kick comes in everything ducks underneath it. but for a 'first production' its real good.

Ah okay I see. What is it your are struggling with? Did you put a strong compressor on the entire track?

No theres no compression on the master, i just boosted the Eq's at different levels eg 100hz and below for the kick and 200hz for the snare etc. I think it has something to do with the frequency filters? they seem to dip the sound when they reach full for some reason.
