I have my own template i have been working on but at this points its not so great, and i am trying to improve my workflow. I was wondering if people were interested in sharing there templates for there best workflow... buses, plugins instantiated , racks , etc. i have the ill gates template which is ok. Hit me up if interested or post here. I also have over 10,000 drum sounds i am willing to trade for a few good drums.

I'm not sure the best way you'd find it, but I know helicopter showdown often times releases things like this for their community. It's unlikely they'd be able to give samples because they're probably copyrighted, but I know they give out massive presets, and I know I've seen an ableton template of their's once.

i have my own drum template which includes 3 kickdrum channels intended to cover the low-mid-hi ranges, and a snare, hihat and random percussion channel.
the kick drum channels include a large library of various kick drum samples divided on the basis of their timbre (kicks with lots of mid, for mid ch., kicks with lots of hi for hi ch.). the lowest being the exception, as it includes a standard 808 type kick synthesized in operator. all channels include an instance of eq 8.
it's good for workflow, as i can experiment with different combinations of sounds by simply dragging the midi notes around on each channel's piano roll to find a tight sounding drum kit.
all channels are grouped, so mastering the entire drum kit is possible.

Some useful information 65L, thanks for that. I don't currently have a template set up, but I've been meaning to do so. Might go a similar route to you, sounds good man!
