Ikonika started playing the drums in hardcore and metal bands at the age of 11.
Drawing from a wide musical background including Hip-Hop, R&B and UK Garage she began to produce her first tracks under the alias Kill Kip in 2005.
After hearing Skream's Midnight Request Line she moved into the world of dubstep production.
Since then she has had releases and remixes across some of the most respected labels in the world including Hyperdub and Planet Mu. Transcending the "dubstep" label and making songs and beats that fall between many electronic genres but continue to defy pigeon holing.
Ikonika played earlier this year in January and turned the basement into a massive party, for this trip she is joined by label mate Optimum.
Optimum has had a big 12 months with releases on night Slugs and Hum and Buzz and collaborations with Ikonika, Jacques Greene amongst others.
