Check the labels they release on, like Chestplate, Hyperdub, Black Box, Origin Audio, etc.

imo, the best way to explore new/similar artists is to look up tracklists/mixes by your favourite producers:

etcetc

If you like then Silkie check out Quest, Kromestar and Jay5ive. They don't sound exactly alike (not as wonky as Silkie) but they all use similar sampling I guess.

Tunnidge, Distance and Cyrus have done collaborations so check them out if you haven't done so already.

DJ Madd and Matt-U share some similarities and have done collaborations together.

As for Phaeleh maybe check out Synkro.

a lot of stuff has been coming out exclusively on vinyl but I feel like more and more labels are starting to do digital releases recently

it might behoove you to browse for digitals on Boomkat, Juno, and Chemical than on Beatport :4:

what do you mean by "this sort of stuff" I know our stuff (area recordings) is finally up on beatport. but if you'd class that as this sort of stuff is entirely up to you LOL.

boomkat is certainly a better guide than beatport for the stuff you are looking for i'd say...

I wouldn't go for labels.

Look at the artists on deep medi and dig deeper into their catalogues.. A lot of artists don't release on just one label so you got a gold mine of 5+ years worth of releases from some producers.

I use beatport for my dub techno, house, and IDM. Juno for my dnb, digital tunes for dubstep.
