true.

things always get covered when it's ecstasy/some other illegal drug, but hardly ever alcohol. Possibly because there are just too many alcohol incidents to cover??

I never read anything about any drug in the papers/on dutch news sites except alcohol etc..
Maybe I just read the right paper :)

Also, I'm titdeep in the techno scene and I never hear about ecstasy related incidents.

exactly.

they probably got it from some randomer at the event. Could be cut with god knows what. Some people have no common sense. People with no common sense should not be allowed to take drugs.

MDMA, the active ingredient of ecstasy.
that's like saying "cocaine, the active ingredient of blow"

Honestly it could have been alcohol that did this. Mixing E and alcohol can easily end badly, assuming it was ecstasy in the first place. Most of the negative effects comes from people mixing things, and also from people overheating/dehydrating of course.
