The REAL Dubcore...
Heres a track Im working on. More hardcore than dubstep, but Im in the process of transitioning in to more dub-heavy parts. Theres no bass guitar yet, other than that, what are your thoughts?

Re: The REAL Dubcore...
I think this would be so rad with some wobble type sub bass instead a regular bass guitar.

generic brostep + deathcore shouldn't be called "dubcore".dubcore wrote:just saying what...?
It's a shit term either way, but it's been used before (pretty ambiguous though) for a certain style of breakcore.
This is a good example:
It's also used to describe the sounds of artists from Mashit, Mindtrick and even Sozialistischer Plattenbau, and some of Bong-Ra's more recent work (the videos in the previous post; the Hecq vs Exilion one is a remix of Bong-Ra's Gargantuan).

I actually thought about that! Its hard to make that sound good though. I think i need more low frequencies in general to fatten up the guitar, then I could probably do sub bass to make it sound ham.andrehines wrote:I think this would be so rad with some wobble type sub bass instead a regular bass guitar.
