Anyone got much experience of using this to help focus when studying for exams?
I realise I can't get adderall in the UK, is there any similar meds you can get here without a prescription?

you can get adderall in the uk just only under prescriptions. there's nothing on the UK market that you don't have to be prescribed that would really help. an ampethamine based medication is prob also not the best idea to take to study. yeah i know its for ADD, BUT it works differently in different people, hence why it's a prescription drug. i did some studying whilst on amphetamines and all i can say is, i got bored as fuck and ended up going out to a club.

It can for sure help you study, if that's your intent. A bit like E if you take alot or get a substitute, such a vyvanse. Don't expect to sleep if you take a strong one after noon.
As for legal alternatives, i think the legal party pills are pretty similar, they just use a slightly different drug (If i wasn't at school i could link it for you, and give way more specific info.)

Yeah, but it's not really the staying awake that's the problem, it's remaining focussed which is why I was interested in adderall type meds

vyvanse is no shit drug
Now Concerta... that is worthless
Vyvanse is adderall on steroids for focus/longevity, with less side effects

Caffeine is a stimulant too, should focus you.
I think MDPV is legal and cheap, just fucks you up for days at a time.
Or you could just buy some nasty phet off your friendly neighbourhood dealer.
Or you could just man up and do your work like the rest of us.

take modafinil it's the closest to a smart drug i've come across, much better for the concentration than speed or caffeine, none of the scattiness
easy to end up doing everyday because you'll feel stupid without it and maybe 3/10 hard to come off

also the staying awake business, but 4 hours sleep is fine with more modafinil + nice with weed

Holy shit.
That's just sad. I have a friend who has been taking adderall non stop in order to pass his finals, and I think this is the biggest thing that has helped him pass the rest of his classes. He has an almost perfect gpa, and has suffered from insomnia and sleep deprivation hallucinations because of this.
It's just fucked up that students have to result to this, as well as gigantic student loans just to get through something that only qualifies them for the job, but does not truly give them an advantage over other people with actual experience.
By the end of all this people's literal hearts are going to be fucked.

I've been on Adderall since 2003 30mg xr in the morning 20mg in the afternoon. Don't take it on the weekends if I don't have anything of responsibile nature to do (djing, driving, curing cancer)
if taken properly its a great drug. When abused its as psychologically addictive and physically dibilitating as meth.

i take tramadol as an alternative to vicodin when I have pain. It's a very minor synthetic opiate... makes me sleepy now and then

Tramadol makes me feel sick and stops me sleeping if I take it at night, leading to a nasty arse comedown in the morning. Swear I'm the only person on the planet who doesn't get any positive recreational effects off it at any dose.
O'desmethyltramadol is fucking fantastic though. Never really understood how I get such a fantastic effect off it, whereas I just get ill off tramadol. I get amazing effects off every other opioid I've ever tried too.

hey yeah thats too bad, but to be fair.. and some of you might not buy it since its clear i've used my fair share of drugs... but i got through my 4yr degree in 4 years, with a near perfect GPA, and holding a part time job and making tunes in my spare time.. all without using any crutch-drugs. I'm no genius, either like some of the other kids around. i just fucking worked hard and didn't go out, really, ever. Probably why i suck at having friends or anything to do socially nowadays. But still. you don't need to be a speed freak to do well in school, when you do school right you get a lasting education.. when you tweak and cram, you blow through exams and get through it without gaining anything but a twitch and a heart murmur

most opiates make me gouchy but tramadol after a few days use doesnt get me high just clears the clutter out my head that I can concentrate for long periods of time. Itll be different for others but me and my friend swear by it, up all night reading with only a need for 3 maybe 4 hours kip.
