Lorn has teamed up with Dolor to release DRUGS, a free EP available online now.
DRUGS may represent different landmarks in the producer's careers, but the approach to the project was the same: from their trove of unreleased material, only tracks with a certain spirit of impurity should be chosen.
By no means is this a finessed or seamless mix. It was never intended to be. More akin to a warped cassette you fished out of a gutter somewhere, DRUGS is a rough compilation of raw, uncut beats intertwined with obscure, sidetracking conversation samples from two musicians and longtime friends who havenʼt forgotten their roots, or how to play off one anotherʼs leads.
