A beginner with a problem (fruity loops and massive)

Post by Lupa » Thu Dec 22, 2011 12:42 pm

Hello, this is my first post. It will not be my last though.

I am having a problem with FL 10 and massive that I was hoping someone could help with. I got FL years ago when I got my enlistment bonus from the military and I have had it ever since although I am nowhere near mastering it, I just don't have the amount of time to devote to it. Music is a passion for me, but not something I can do all the time with my schedule. I recently got into dubstep and my husband got me massive as an early holiday present. I have been going over tutorials and learning how to use it, but one problem keeps making me :u:

I can come up with a nice wobble that I like and while I am playing it on the piano roll it sounds great, but once I assign notes and hit "play part" or "play song" in FL it completely changes it and instead of a wobble it sounds like a very faint annoying vibration is in the background of the sound.

I went into link parameters via massive and clicked on modulation5 which I thought might help and that did not seem to do anything. Any ideas?

Thank you :)

Welcome to DSF and I know what your problem is... go to the "Global" tab in massive and then select "External Sync"... Should sort your problem out for you?
Abstrakt.

Come check out my fothermucking soundcoud:

Something TOTALLY different. Really enjoyed this badboy and the melodies.
