I'm sure he bought it...talked with him on AIM and pricing was something he was concerned about when deciding between Logic and Ableton

I *ahem* "got" Ableton, but then I BOUGHT logic and I only use Logic now. Am I still going to Hell?

Just bought it today! with the new price, its almost unresistable

of coarse i bought it, i like to be legit.

and the new pricing is $200 in the app store. it comes with 19gb of instruments/samples that the box version came with too. i had to snag it. i would have had to pay like $450 to get ableton suite, but logic is just as full-fledged if not more for only $200 so I'm happy.

for the next few weeks I'm gonna have my head in ravenspiral and the logic manual. i gotta get some theory in my system as well as some basic logic knowledge. atm it took me like 15 mins to figure out how to open up an instrument LOL at that point i thought "hmmm i should probably locate the pdf manual".

Damn, I bought the box version of Logic Express for $200, to upgrade to pro is $300!!!

Well Logic Express is barely worse, just doesn't have Space Designer and a few other effects.....

alright thanks man, much appreciated. and yeah i've been around these forums for a little while, since 09 i believe. my other account got banned for saying ch*nks i believe it was. but yeah man i couldn't believe how cheap logic was when i saw it! just had to get it.

I also have Logic and love it! Any help / advice (I know I'm new, but believe me, I have spent a LOT of time learning this recently) lemme know and I'll try and help as well!

get this book called
Apple pro training series logic pro 9 and logic express 9 and its by David Nahmani

go to all the forums for logic and also just play around with everything. once you get the hang of logic everything will come very easily.
