playing 192kbs MP3's live

Lets say that there is an unreleased track that you really love, but the only way to play it is to cut it from a mix. The file taken out of the mix seems to sound very high quality, but it is only 192kbps, which is usually not recommend for live use, but you seriously want to play the song out very badly. Is it unacceptable to play a 192kbps MP3 live, even it it seems to sound good?

well I don't play at clubs. Just small venues that have shit systems anyway.

i wouldnt bother mate, you should leave that kind of bit rate for ipods.. you think if your playing a 192mp3 on a 'shit' system, thats gonna create some awful output...

stick to wavs.. or if forced.. 320s..

errr have people just missed the fact that he wants to cut a track out of a mix to play out? surely that is worse than just playing full length low quality tracks?
