I don't know the original Mala track, but your refix is quite good! It would deserve a lil bit a mixing/mastering work, but it's nice!
The other one, I like the atmospher, but it sounds a lil bit messy... I can't explain why! But it defo has good ideas.
i love both tracks, alicia i like the best though!
i love the percussive beat. I wouldnt consider it dubstep though, but its crazy good for just a chill song.

Dude.....not to lecture or anything, other people on here will give you that, but that IS dubstep.
All the heavy aggressive "filthy" stuff is brostep, or basically 140 bpm electro.
Dubstep isnt meant to be "filthy"

I don't get how people can start producing a genre before they actually learn anything about it...
Some of the most important/greatest dubstep tunes ever (for educational purposes):

No worries you'll learn fast on here
Just a warning before you go out into the unforgiving world of Dubstepforum General Discussion, the crowd here mostly listens to dubstep in its original form, not the formulaic wompy wobwobwob brostep trash.
If you're interested in "real" dubstep, do a bit of research. Maccaveli just posted a pretty comprehensive mini education, for more extensive explanation go to the wikipedia page on dubstep or the big sticky thread in General Discussion titled "New to Dubstep? A good place to start is here"
If you're feeling it, great, the world of Dubstepforum welcomes you, if not, that's fine, no hate (from me at least), but this is not the forum for you.
Believe me, I'm a 13 year old kid from the USA, I know brostep. Most people in the USA think Skrillex is the god of dubstep, yata yata yata, but a friendly warning - that's not the attitude on here.
Good luck! And I hope you love the original sound as much as I do!
