It was shaping up to be a pretty good club track, something I'd hear at my local nightclub then the growling bass stuff ruined it man. Not cool.

I really, really like this. I'm not going to be one of those elitists that disregards the modern mainstream style. The production is very clean, the synths are immaculate and the melodies are spot on. The builds are perfect, the drops have great rhythm, and the Jawa sample was an unexpectedly great addition. Your drums are what I love the most; they're so clean and subversive; they're orchestrated so well that they blend in and augment the entire track rather than sounding separated from the rest of the track. Really, really great.

Yeah i have no idea what that guy was saying about the growling bass ruining it. I thought your basslines were fucking awesome. the buildup was great and I loved the drop.

Drop was a little bit disappointing, but you can tell there's some nice production going on in it I think the snare gets a bit boring after about 2 minutes sounds like it could use a 200hz heavy snare on the drop or something to make it more interesting Also on your drop try to stay away from generic yayayaya noises, might just be personal taste but I instantly think noob producer when I hear those sort of sounds, try to get more tonal and gritty basses to replace it

I agree, also people will say stay away from "modern talking and deep throat", don't. They're pretty filth-esque if you know how to use LFO's and ENV's (should you be using Massive), and if you are. Here's one of the basses I use (sometimes), open up a new patch on Massive, turn off all oscillators's except for the first and in use the "Scrapyard" preset, send an LFO to the W/T and make it so the green part of the LFO covers the whole W/T and leave the LFO as it is, select "Frequency Pitching" on Insert 1 and leave it as it is. Then add a tele tube and a dimension expander and leave them be, go to "voicing" and change the unison from "16/0" to "16/10" and set it from "Polyphon" to "Monophon" and "Legato Triller" turn the Pan Position on and move it 3 bars across.
As I don't make much brostep, I don't really work on my basses and that's pretty basic what I just put, so work on it a bit. (This is for everyone and anyone to use, I watched a vid on YT a while back and thought I'd make the bass so meh)
