trance clubs in london?
when a mate of mine whose a trance fan asked what a good trance club in london was, i actually had no clue lol. Quick googling showed a club in brixton called Club 414; is it any good? Also, are there any other good clubs that play trance?
Would also like to know of a good techno club as well actually, been proper getting into that style recently

414 is an absolute shit hole of a club, avoid at all costs.
Trance wise, Ministry Of Sound for The Gallery on Fridays is pretty much ground zero for a regular big trance party. If you're after psy stuff, Factory/Club Life over in Vauxhall do regular parties, as does La Dolce Vita for their larger events at Lightbox/Fire (Vauxhall), and there are larger events at the Colliseum (also Vauxhall).
You could do a lot worse than getting yourself down Camden and finding this little psy music/clothing shop tucked away in indoor market lockside - they have flyers for pretty much every party that's taking place in London that is trance themed down there by the counter.

Nope, not Cyberdog. Fuck that place.
The one I mean is to the left once you go past the food stands, up the thinner end where the shops selling the posters are.

it was a bit of a novelty to start off, then it just turned into a nightmare. put me off K and psy trance for life, fuck them and their horrible bait lifestyle.

cheers people, will definitely check out all these places and the camden shop as well.
lool definitely gonna use this in my argument against my mate as to why we should go plastic people rather than a trance club; being in a trance club listening to that same beat for hours on end will drive me insanewub wrote:A whole genre built around a single kick drum.

TBH, not sure I can really explain the difference without either playing you a shit load of tracks. Psy tunes generally sound very similar to each other; regular trance tunes (i.e. more mainstream stuff) has a broader range of influences and occasionally vocals.
